Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo empowers constituents with over 60 vehicles.

Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo, Member representing Nkwere/ Isu/ Nwangele/ Njaba Federal Constituency has rolled out a multi-million Naira empowerment program, presenting over 60 vehicles to his constituents as part of plans to enhance livelihood as well as create business opportunities for them.

The vehicles were presented on Monday in
Nwangele LGA, Imo State to the beneficiaries under the 3rd phase of the lawmaker’s constituency Support Programme.
Ozurigbo who is the House Committee
Chairman on Justice, in his brief remark, said the presentation, was in fulfillment of his personal vow to God and to improve on
transportation system in his constituency.

The Member representing Nkwerre/ Isu/
Nwangele/ Njaba Federal Constituency who
assured his constituent that they would
experience the 4th phase of his empowerment scheme in the next 3 months said the proposed Civic Centre he promised his constituents is already in the 2021 budget.
According to Ozurigbo who had only few
months ago presented over 40 vehicles to his constituents in the second phase of the
programme,”In the next 3 months the 4th
phase of this program will come up and over six hundred beneficiaries would be
empowered.”

He said “What we are doing today is what we have always done to make the people of this constituency happy and make them feel the impact of democracy.”
Rt Hon .Femi Gbajamiamila, who witnessed
the presentation, commended Ozurigbo’s large
heart, describing him as an embodiment of
what a representative should be.
The Speaker, who was represented by
Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, advised the
beneficiaries to make good use of the vehicles for the upliftment of their lives and those of their family members.
Hon Ugonna urged those who missed out in the program to exercise patience as they could still benefit from subsequent empowerment programs.

Senator Rochas Okorocha, Former Governor of Imo State now representing Orlu Senatorial District commended Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo, describing him as his son in whom he is well pleased.
Okorocha who was full of praises for Ozurigbo said the lawmaker’s gesture is a redemption of his electoral promise to make impact on the lives of members of his constituency.
Hon Nkiru Onyejeex reps Member from Abia State and deputy Chief Whip at the House of Representatives, enjoined the people to be faithful to the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the party was committed to delivering the dividends of democracy to all parts of the state.
Mr John Alozie, a recipient of the vehicles
distributed, described Rep. Ozurigbo as
promise keeper who cares only of introducing beneficiary programs for his people.

Mr. Alozie recalled that Ozurigbo did the exact thing in his first term just before he was elected in 2014 to the State House for the second term, adding that it was a major reason he was strongly supported to win the race in the Federal House.
