UGWUMBA LEADERSHIP CENTER TO PARTNER WITH NEPAD
As part of their commitment to improve the lives of young people in Nigeria and Africa at lareg, the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa had a strategic partnership meeting with the Chief Executive of the New Partnership Initiatives for African Development, Hon. Princess Gloria Akobundu and her team in her office yesterday.
At the end of the high level meeting, the Executive Director of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, Remy Chukwunyere declared that the partnership has become necessary since both organizations share in the same vision of integrating Africa into the mainstream of the world economy by raising young leaders and entrepreneurs, who shall become active players in the system, thereby create jobs and eradicating poverty in the continent.
Mr. Chukwunyere used the opportunity to inform the NEPAD team about the Pan African Edition of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge, which is scheduled to hold in August, this year in Lagos and called for their collaboration.
