Title Defence: Manchester City wins Arsenal

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was an unused substitute for Arsenal in their loss to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The visitors began the defence of their title with a 2-0 win over Arsenal.
Goals by Raheem Sterling in the 14th minute and by Bernardo Silva in the 64th secured for the Premier League champions a fine start to the season.
It was the first league match for new Gunners boss Unai Emery, and the home defeat would serve as a wakeup call.
City got ahead when England winger Sterling collected the ball on the left flank, cutting inside and blasting past goalkeeper petr Cech from the edge of the box.
The visitors continued to seek to double the lead and were successful later in the second half.
Through a low cross from Benjamin Mendy into the area, Silva was right in the box to fire the ball into the net.
Iwobi will face compatriot Victor Moses in their next game as Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea next week Saturday.
