Yesterday being the 3rd of April 2020, Imolites witnessed the launching of the Imo State Isolation and Treatment Center Meant for the fight against COVID-19.

The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Gov. Hope Uzodinma declared open the Center and said that Imo state is ready to fight the pandemic, Coronavirus.

In the entourage of the Governor of Shared Prosperity were the Deputy Governor of the State, Prof. Placid Njoku, Speaker of the Imo State House Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins, all Commissioners and top government officials.

Coronavirus since entering Nigeria has spread to over 8 states including the FCT and has a record of 209 Confirmed Cases, 25 Recovered and discharged and 4 fatalities.
