The Online Global Green Workshop 2020 is a two-day high level dialogue webinar converging 200 founders, startup enthusiasts, environmental advocates, industry experts and ecosystem leaders across the globe working collectively on ending hunger and eradicating poverty around the globe.
The objective of this workshop is to spark up critical discussions, inspire, engage, network, connect and also form a formidable partnership that will be based on investing in Food Security and Rural Development leading to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal.
The Online Global Green Workshop will feature 3 international keynote speakers which includes;
- Clancy Cash Harrison, MS, RDN, FAND, the President of the Al Beech West Side Food Pantry who challenges the way food insecurity is approached in the United States. As a registered dietitian, TEDx speaker and food justice advocate, she speaks to thousands of healthcare professionals, non-profit organizations, and universities every year about food dignity and improving access to nourishing food.
- Jasmine Crowe, a TEDx speaker, the creator of Goodr, a tech-enabled sustainable food waste management company that strives to eliminate hunger and save food from landfills. She’s working to make the world a better place by reducing food waste and ending hunger. She has hosted events in more than 20 US cities and in the UK, South Africa and Haiti. She has collected and donated more than two million food items to causes worldwide and fed more than 80,000 people through the Sunday Soul Homeless feeding initiative.
- Gideon Brefo, the Co-founder of Hapaweb Solutions and hapaSpace, a hub which drivers the Kumasi entrepreneurial ecosystem with technology, innovation and synergy. Gideon has worked with groups from over seven countries and several multinationals such as the British Council, Expresso Telecom and Indego Africa. He has facilitated many international programs including the Rockefeller ICT employability skills for the disadvantaged in Ghana and the Indego Africa Corporate training.
The Online Global Green Workshop is put together by Jacob Wisdom, the Founder and CEO of Green Lineage with support from Food Dignity, GoodrCo, HapaSpace, Hapaweb and Kokri Branders.
The Online Global Green Workshop is a great opportunity for interaction, and a meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders who are aiming to build international agritech companies.
