Odion Ighalo ready to take £75m risk to stay at United
Odion Ighalo is prepared to pass up on a contract worth £75 million ($92m) with Shanghai Shenhua to stay at Manchester United.
The Nigerian striker’s loan at Old Trafford is set to expire and United want to extend it, but Shenhua are not interested in loaning him out again.
United will have to buy him on a permanent basis and Ighalo wants to stay, even though The Daily Star claims he has a giant three-year deal worth £25m ($31m) per season waiting on him in China.
