May D opens up, after reports of Wizkid Drugging him

Nigerian singer, MayD, has spoken up over allegations that he was once drugged by Wizkid in a hotel room, just to have his melody stolen. The internet has been on fire ever since the release of an episode on Loose Talk by Osagie and his gang , where Wizkid was described as a fake celebrity who takes advantage of everyone.

Akinmayokun Awodumila born 28 December, popularly known as May D, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and dancer. He was formally signed to the R&B duo P-Square record label “Square records”. On 13 May 2011 he released his first single “SoundTrack” under Square records. The video was released on 12 January 2012 and the video was directed by “Clarence Peters” and the video had over 83,702 views on YouTube due to the label deleted the video from their YouTube channel, which had over 10 million views .
The show hosts, alleged that the Starboy once had MayD and Dammy Krane in a hotel room, where he drugged them and eventually stole their tune. The song in question titled Bamilo was said to have been a stolen melody with the original singer of the hit being MayD.
Many other things were said about Wizkid that reflected him as an irresponsible father as his baby mamas have claimed. MayD who was formerly signed on to Square records set the record straight, stating that he was never drugged by Starboy and the himself and the singer recorded the song, Bamilo together.
Known as MisterMayD on Twitter he also defended the attack Wizkid has been getting from social media users lately and expressed disappointment that people are trying to bring down the image Wizkid has worked hard to build. Wizkid is yet to respond to the bashing and serious allegations against him. First it was his first baby mama, Shola, who opened a can of worms, alleging that the singer is a deadbeat father and has failed woefully in taking care of his child.
In fact, despite the trolling and the backlash, on the gram, Wizkid has managed to be unfazed. The Starboy seems to be living his best life in Milan with no worries. Meanwhile, Nigerians recently lambasted Wizkid’s first babymama Shola Ogudu for commenting on Davido’s post.
Davido shared on social media that he keeps rising because he wants people around him to make it too. The mother of Wizkid’s first child, Oluwanishola, took to commenting under the post to throw shade at the Starboy
