Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, has announced the distribution of food items to the 27 local governments of the state.

He initially announced this in his Easter address to the state earlier today and later in a statement published on his Twitter page.

The governor mentioned that the distribution of food items to the 27 local governments of the state will take effect today. The food items include bags of rice, bags of noodles, tubers of yam, several litres of bottled water, cartons of tin tomatoes etc.
