They have been drawn in Group D, and will face Haiti and China in the other group games.
Nigeria have reached the final twice – in the 2010 and 2014 editions, – and will hope to maintain their best orgo a step further to win the title.
This year’s showpiece began on Sunday August 5, with hosts France thrashing Africa’s other representatives Ghana in Group A, and will end on August 24.
Also in Group A, Netherlands beat New Zealand 2-1; while Mexico edged out Brazil 3-2 and England beat reigning champions Korea 3-1 in Group B.
The game between the Falconets and Germany will go down by 12:30pm Nigeria time.
