COVID-19 : 269 Nigerians return from India.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, 269 Nigerians stranded in India have returned home.
Recall that on Thursday, the 11th of June,2020, 312 Indians were repatriated from Nigeria and the High Commission of India noted that the Nigerian airline, Air peace will repatriate stranded Nigerians in India on its way back.
It was then gathered that 103 evacues arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos while 166 citizens Landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
It was also learnt that a Nigerian airline, Air peace, air lifted the returnees early Saturday.
The Nigerian in Diaspora Commission confirmed the development via twitter where it stressed that the evacuees have began a mandoratory 14-day self- isolation.
“269 stranded Nigerians in India landed in Nigeria (106 in Lagos, 166 in Abuja) today, Saturday 13th June, 2020”.
“All evacuees are now on 14-days self-isolation according to the new protocol by the Presidential Task force on COVID-19. All tested negative before boarding are to be re-tested within 72 hours at a Nigeria Center for Disease Control designated testing center”. It wrote.
