The Big Brother Nigeria reality show might have gotten a lot of condemnation in the past from self-righteous people but people who have participated on the show have seen their lives undergo an impressive improvement and this has also encouraged many to want to be part of the show in future.

BBNaija has also been responsible for a number of love stories with some even looking likely to end in marriage. It was taken with great joy when fans saw that two of the contestants on the 2019 edition, Mercy and Ike, were a couple.

Excited fans even referred to the couple as Merike as they hoped it would lead to a good end like a couple from the previous year, Bambam and Teddy A.

However, hopes of a forever after between Mercy and Ike have been cut short for now after the couple were noticed to have unfollowed each other on social media.
