“2020 will be a very busy year for me” – Kristal, as he shares a little of What his fans should Expect

One of Owerri’s biggest rappers, Kristal Nwaiwu otherwise known as “Kristal” has revealed that the new year 2020 will be a very busy one for him as he shares a little insight of what his fans should expect from him. He said ” There are lots of songs coming up next year, my album “Shockwaves” will be coming up either in February or March or even earlier, my EP is also dropping and if time is on our side, I will drop my Mixtape, making it three awesome and mind blowing projects for the year 2020″. He also said he has couples of hit singles that will dropping too like DINERO, which will be the first to drop, where he featured another star, Uc FLamez. He said “I have up to 5 collabos with mind blowing artistes coming your way”.
When asked about the 101 Freestyle mixtape and what inspired him to do it, this was what he had to say “Well 101 Freestyle is actually a track off my “Kristal Clear Mixtape Vol.2”, i have already started working on it, so it’s just a track there, I wanted to use it to sample different rap techniques, 101 like a tutorial or something on how to kill that particular type of beat”.
Going back memory lane on he started, what inspired him to start his journey in music, he told us “I was born into a music family, mum and dad are great lovers of music, i practically grew up listening to thousands of artists both the ones I know and I don’t, So i think that was what brood my love for music”. He went further to tell us that he discovered his music/rap ability back in his secondary school, JSS2 to be precise. He started officially as a Rapper in 2013.
Giving his shout out to Youngroc who has been a big time supporter to his career and he happens to be his manager. Going back to how he met Youngroc, “I used to go to his studios to record some hits, basically I was a studio artiste, he saw my passion for rap and he started to like me. At some point, i couldn’t keep up to his studio session fees, then he said to me, Guy stop this, come let me manage”. He said that all in all, it’s been God that has been seeing him through.
