Troubles yet blessings, the devil’s incarnate yet angels, disrespectful yet obedient are most of the numerous words painted on the average teenager’s face as compliments that must be accepted that trust me, that is not the problem and has never been for these young souls.
At such young, fragile and difficult stage, they face life from different perspective concerning love, depression, school, friends, society and most especially, the desperation for success which can lead them into certain misconducts; but this all depends on the way they think, feel and understand life, this determines their future selves and of course the right mentorship cannot be left out.
Being a teenager, one is at a stage of life when new things interests him as the trends keep coming in just to shift gears to the next, take me as an example; at 13, I wanted to be a banker, at 15, I was sure I was destined to be a pilot, till now, if I’m asked where I see myself in the next 10 years, I’d say “Wherever the winds of success takes me”.
Growing, independence becomes a major priority, this should not be seen as anything negative, but growth because with days passing by I’ve realized that the beauty of being a teen is our time, thoughts and determination for the future. Let’s appreciate that.
