Today, we have a fast rising rapper who was born and brought here in Imo state and he happens to base here to pursue his dreams. His real names are Michael Utibe Emmanuel, otherwise known as MK Utibe or MK.
Q1: What’s the Motivation behind your love for music or let’s say Rap?
ANS: “My love for music ignited my career, first i was a big fan of p² I love and followed up there music till my cousin(late) introduced me to m.i music back in 2010 then my love for rap grew like wild fire gradually I started writing my own songs now I’m here”.
Q2: You recently won the Voice of Fame Competition organized by Swift Empire Records, So tell us how has it been since then?.
ANS: About swift empire, am not signed to Swift Empire records I am trying to promote my brand PDM (passion driven music) I left Swift Empire because they were actually slowing me down (no documents were signed), so I wasn’t an official swift empire artist.
Q3: As an upcoming artist or rapper, where do you see yourself in few years to come?
ANS: In few years to come, I see myself as a multiple award-winning act, starting with our own e-celeb awards hosted by Stanley Esure Akalaonu here in Imo State.
It Might interest you to know this sensational young rapper is about to drop his first hit jam as an artist, Titled “GIRLFRIEND”. He said “My track (wish I had a) GIRLFRIED, Is actually an afro pop song with an entertaining lyrics, it’s all about me wishing I had a girlfriend”. This hit jam is set to drop this Season.
