For a lot of people, a new years resolution is the first decision they make and promise to keep going until the next year( which probably does not even last till the next month).
Saying this on behalf of a reasonable percentage of people including me, new year’s resolution are like traditions, we set a goal or promise ourselves on something we plan to achieve but I think it is safe to say it rarely and to some extent, most definitely doesn’t work mostly because of the feeling of dutifully carrying this “big work load” out.
However, new year comes with pure joy, gratitude and a new start and so it does in our lives. A new year’s resolution in words does not have to be put in the frontiers of this start, rather, it should be put in action. In other words, as a new year begins, resolutions should be made, made not to be said and forgotten but to be acted on.
This is a short letter to you and me on our new beginning.
