Croatia sealed their place in the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup after seeing off Denmark 3-2 on penalties in their round of 16 clash on Sunday.
With the win, the Croatians set up a quarterfinal clash with hosts Russia, who defeated Russia aalso on penalties earlier on Sunday.
Jorgensen had helped Denmark go ahead early in the first half before an equaliser by Croatia’s Mandzukic four minutes after, as the game ended 1-1 at full time.
Croatia had an opportunity to take the lead in extra time, but Luka Modric had his penalty saved by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The match ended 4-3 penalties in favour of Croatia who meets Russia in the next Knockout stage..
