The Senior Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to the Governor of Imo state Hon. Eric Uwakwe in partnership with the CEO of D’Angels Bar & Grills, Cubana Chief Priest, today Monday 6th April 2020, unveiled a 3-Day economic stimulus Food package and distributions for all Imolites.
This Relief Scheme was initiated following the Stay-at-Home Order by the FG through the state government in a bid to protect the state from COVID-19 Virus.
The Relief Package comprises food packs, meat, can of water, pure heaven etc has been distributed to citizens of the state residing at World Bank area as shown in photos below, this aimed at cushioning the effect of the 14-day Stay-at-Home directive.
The 3-Day Relief Food package and distributions would reduce the burden of the temporary economic downturn caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 on the citizens of Imo state…Hon. Eric Uwakwe expressed.
According to him, the food packs, which were put together in partnership with D’ANGELS Bar & Grills would reach every Husband, Wife, Youths & children of the state.
He explained that the measure was to further encourage people to stay at home to curtail the spread of the Virus Pandemic.
Other notable comrades who joined the unveiling of the 3-Day Relief Food Package is the PA/Head of Secretariat to the SSA Youth Affairs, Hon. Sixtus Okechukwu; Chief of staff to SSA Youth Affairs, Hon Henry Anusionwu; Hon Emeka Agbugba; Hon. Steve Anyaehie; Hon Onyeka Okatta, amongst others.
