“I’ll be back soon”- Governor Ikpeazu speaks from Isolation Center.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State on Wednesday said he would be soon be back from the isolation center after testing positive for Coronavirus.
The governor gave the firm assurance during a telephone call to his Special Assistant on Media and Communication, Enyinnaya Apollus.
Apollus in his post on Facebook wrote, ” At exactly 5:18pm on Wednesday, June 10,2020,he(Ikpeazu) said to me, ” Nna, I’m very fine. Unu jide stage, (meaning, you people should hold the stage). Very soon I will be back. I’m doing fine”.
The Project Director of Unubiko Foundation, Dr. Benjamin Isani also urged Abia State residents to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
Isani also encouraged Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to keep up faith as he would definitely be cured of the virus.
