“I have tested negative to the Coronavirus” – Hope Uzodinma
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has tested negative for the COVID-19 disease, his Commissioner for Information, Mr Declan Emelumba, announced on Monday.
The Commissioner, who made the announcement in a statement in Owerri, the state capital, said that it was important that members of the public were aware of the governor’s COVID-19 status.
According to Emelumba, a team from the Nigerian Centre for Decease Control (NCDC) took the governor’s sample on Saturday.
“The result of the governor’s sample was released today (Monday) the governor tested negative to COVID-19,’’ Emelumba said.
