Tekno to quit Music for the mean time after damaging vocal chords
Pop star and cash cow of Triple MMMG management Augustine Kelechi, popularly known in music circles as Tekno, is taking time-off music after reportedly damaging his vocal box.
That much information was revealed in a statement issued by his management which further informed that the temporal damage to Tekno’s vocal box was due to strain from overtime performances.
Part of the statement by @ubifranklintriplemg reads thus; “His vocal box is temporarily damaged due to strain from overtime performances and cannot sing or perform for a while.”

Triple MMMG boss Ubi Franklin also noted in the statement that the past few months have been tough times for Tekno who has been trying to downplay the seriousness of his present condition.
“He tried to downplay the severity of his ailment, but after several diagnoses doctors have advised that he takes time out to fully recover,” Ubi said.
A similar occurrence played out last year in April when the ‘Pana’ crooner was forced to cancel booked shows after he was admitted in an American hospital for acid reflux.
