Manchester City holds unto their unbeaten start this season
Manchester City equalled their longest sequence of clean sheets away from home in the league during their 4-0 victory at West Ham.
City matched a record that has stood for over 115 years in keeping out the Hammers, and not since they recorded four shut-outs in a row between March and April 1903 has their defence been so miserly on the road.
That record was set when the club were in the second tier, a far cry from 2018 as City retained their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League by swatting aside West Ham at the London Stadium.
