Barkley gets a point for the blues against United

Ross Barkley scored deep into injury time to deny Manchester United a huge win over Chelsea.
Anthony Martial’s brace looked to have sealed a stunning comeback win and end Maurizio Sarri’s unbeaten start to the season only for the substitute to pop up in the 96th minute.
The French forward netted two second-half goals after Antonio Rudiger’s opener from a corner in what was a keenly contested game.
With Eden Hazard enjoying a strong start to the season with his seven Premier League goals for Chelsea, much was made about how Mourinho would try and contain the Belgian’s obvious threat.
It appeared to be left down to former Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic to do just that, and he set about early on trying to stop the winger from bombing forward on the left flank with two fouls in the space of four minutes.
Ashley Young also produced two fouls on Hazard, which earned both Matic and him bookings in the first half.
Yet, it would not be Chelsea’s star man who would score the opener for the hosts but, rather, defender Antonio Rudiger who overcame a late fitness test to start against United.
The Germany international managed to get away from Paul Pogba to head in Willian’s corner in the 21st minute and halt the visitors’ positive start to the game.
From then on, Chelsea dominated proceedings and such was their eagerness to resume after the break that the Blues emerged a good few minutes before United.
But the visitors returned focused and, despite not having a shot on target in the opening 55 minutes, United created two in the space of 20 seconds to haul themselves back into the game.
After Kepa Arrizabalaga spilled Juan Mata’s shot from Luke Shaw’s cross, Chelsea thought they had cleared the danger but Young sent the ball back into the box where it took a deflection off Jorginho and was left free to fire in by Martial.

David Luiz then had a glorious chance to help Chelsea re-take the lead but the defender headed Willian’s free-kick in the 65th minute wide before N’Golo Kante drew a save from David De Gea not long afterwards.
With Chelsea wasting their chances to score, United took full advantage as Mata’s cut-back found Marcus Rashford who set up Martial for United’s second in the 72nd minute to threaten to seal an impressive win for United back at Mourinho’s former stomping ground.
But substitute Barkley equalised with seconds left on the clock as things turned ugly on the touchline. A fracas involving Mourinho had to be contained by security as Chelsea kept their unbeaten start to the season in tact.
